  • Dress comfortably and prepare for outdoor elements. If you are attending a VIP event, we suggest business casual attire. We strongly recommend bringing a comfortable pair of shoes for walking and crossing the grass. If you do not have seating in the pavilion and it is expected to rain, please consider bringing a slicker or rain poncho.

  • Of course! Children love to come to TerraNova to experience the horse show. We offer Tiny Town, an interactive, tech-free playground area for children. Tiny Town is free to enter, but we ask you to please be respectful of the toys inside and try your best to leave things how you found them. We often offer other children’s activities, such as Mini Horse Camp and other interactive experiences.

  • Yes, well-behaved dogs on a leash are allowed on the showgrounds. Dogs are not allowed inside the show office or bathrooms. Please clean up after your pet and help them to mind their manners. If your dog becomes a distraction to other guests or to the horses, you may be asked to leave.

  • Yes, please visit us inside the TerraNova Boutique to find high-quality merchandise and gifts. Cash, card, and Apple Pay are accepted. Boutique hours vary depending on the horse show. Please see our website or call ahead at 941-557-8014 if you need more information.

  • TerraNova is a perfect place to learn all about horses and experience them up close! There will not be any opportunities to ride during the horse shows. However, we often have our miniature horse herd on display near Tiny Town. You are more than welcome to pet and interact with them. Please do not enter any of the barns. These are restricted areas for horse show personnel only.

  • Public restrooms are located in our restroom building in front of the pavilion steps, beside the vendor area. There are also restrooms inside of our show office building. The restrooms inside the competition barns are for competitors and horse show personnel only.
