Hurricane Stall Reservations 2024

Plan ahead for your horses during the 2024 Hurricane season.

Events at TerraNova is offering a limited number of dry stalls in the two permanent competition barns at TerraNova Equestrian Center located at 31625 Clay Gully Road, Myakka City, FL, 34251, for reservation in advance of the 2024 Hurricane Season.

RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE BY JUNE 15, 2024

A $100 nonrefundable reservation fee will guarantee your reserved stall from June 1, 2024- November 30, 2024, to include a 3-day stay.  Any additional days will be charged $25 per stall/per day.  

Black out days include competition days that are prior to 72-hour period leading up to a storm or evacuation. In advance of a storm, registrants will be notified when the barns become open to move in.

The stall reservation opportunity closes on June 15, 2024. Thereafter, to allow for adequate planning and preparation, Events at TerraNova makes no representations about availability of stalls or any associated fees in the event of a hurricane or evacuation

RULES:

1.      All Coggins and health certifications must be updated upon arrival.

2.      All arrivals must be scheduled by calling 941.557.8014 or through email to [email protected]

3.      In the event of a storm, the overhead garage doors will be closed at the discretion of Events at TerraNova management and will not be opened until it is determined safe to do so. 

4.      Access to the barn after the storm will be determined by Events at TerraNova management in its sole discretion after considering all safety considerations. 

5.      Stabling is self-care ONLY.

6.      Events at TerraNova has no duty or responsibility to check the barns at any time and absolutely no one from Events at TerraNova will be checking the barns during the storm. 

7.      There is no automatic generator back-up to the barn electricity, but there is a generator for the well, which will be operated only by Events at TerraNova management and only when it is safe to do so. 

8.      Please plan to supply all water buckets.  We recommend multiple water buckets per stall. 

9.      We require you to bring enough hay/feed for 1 week to supply your horse.

10.  Shavings can be purchased prior to arrival from TerraNova Feed and Fence (941-557-8014) and will be delivered to your stall as available.

11.  Stall cards must be completed with all information and securely displayed on each stall. 

12.  Horses must be removed within 48 hours after the storm passes. If extreme circumstances prevent removal of any horse, contact management at 941.557.8014, as soon as possible to make other arrangements.

13.  Horses may be labeled at owner’s discretion.

14.  No parking is allowed for vehicles anywhere onsite at TerraNova Equestrian Center without prior approval in writing. 

15.  Trailers may be parked in the designated area only and at your own risk, and only after obtaining the required prior written approval.

16.  No human being is allowed to stay in the barn after the official garage door closing, without prior approval.

17.  Registrants will be notified in advance of the storm when barns are open to move in.
